+++ 05th November 2014 +++ Opening ceremony at a gear unit test centre at the Kassel location. FAURNDAU had been commissioned to equip the test benches with a total of 17 rotary current asynchronous motors. We were invited to the festivities and attended with a small trade fair stall and our new water-cooled HSD (high speed drive up to 17,000 rpm) in rotary current technology.
+++ 06th October 2014 +++ In the scope of the research project “Energy-optimised extrusion line” FAURNDAU has been commissioned to deliver a water-cooled synchronous motor with a high degree of efficiency. The organisation responsible for the project is the Kunststoff-Zentrum SKZ in Würzburg. Having successfully cooperated in the joint project “Evaluation of drive concepts of for extrusion machines from economic and ecological perspective for small and medium-sized businesses” in 2009/2010, FAURNDAU is looking forward to the findings and results of this new research project.
+++ August 2014 +++ In the area of data processing a new ERP is introduced. Some members of staff have already been trained. The new ERP is to be fully operational by mid-2015.
+++ 13th August 2014 +++ After all wooden windows have been replaced by modern plastic windows with heat absorbing glass in 2011, the façade and the roof are now being renovated. Parts of the building that still have a flat roof will receive a saddle roof. The project is to be finished by the end of the year, so that the company buildings will have a sustainable structure and a prestigious appearance.
+++ 25th July 2014 +++ After a long time of negotiations, a major contract for a Chinese end customer of 8 gear unit test benches with a total of 20 drive motors in the performance range of 220 kW and 3,200 Nm up to 3,000 rpm has been ordered from FAURNDAU. Apart from the technical performance, the short delivery time to the end of November 2014 was a decisive factor for awarding FAURNDAU with the order.
+++ 22nd July 2014 +++ FAURNDAU is commissioned to equip a new service centre for the automotive area of motor development in southern Germany with 4 water-cooled synchronous motors. This new technical centre will be available to a renowned motorist from the 2nd quarter of 2015.
+++ 12th July 2014 +++ On the occasion of the 20-year anniversary of the “new” FAURNDAU group, a celebration was held for personnel and family members, where coffee and cake and afterwards dinner were served and goal wall shooting and an exciting company quiz entertained the guests.
+++ 18th June 2014 +++ FAURNDAU has been commissioned to deliver 30 motors by a renowned manufacturer for plastics machines. The scope of delivery includes rotary current asynchronous, DC shunt and rotary current synchronous motors. The high quality of the motors (“made in Germany”) in combination with a short delivery time were the decisive factors for awarding the order to FAURNDAU.
+++ 25th April 2014 +++ On this day, FAURNDAU supplies 45 rotary current motors for a renowned German manufacturer of balancing machines. The service spectrum goes up to 110 kW and maximum rotating speeds up to 4,000 rpm. The motors are tailored especially for the requirements of balancing machines. Special requirements are made for balancing quality and axial and concentric run-out tolerances. The motors are installed horizontally, so that special roller bearings are used.
+++ 05th June 2014 +++ FAURNDAU is commissioned to supply 36 rotary current motors for 11 test benches to equip a new service test centre for the automotive industry in China. The motors generate capacities of up to 610 kW, rotational speeds of up to 10,000 rpm and torques of over 5,000 Nm.
+++ 21st May 2014 +++ FAURNDAU is commissioned by a renown German automobile manufacturer to deliver a rotary current motor for a cylinder head drag test bench. The rotary current motor in the shaft height of 132 is dimensioned for a maximum rotational speed of 10,000 rpm providing a torque of up to 160 Nm.
+++ 16th May 2014 +++ FAURNDAU receives a follow-up order from a well-known German arms manufacturer to supply another 72 DC compound motors as compressor drive of the air conditioning system in the Leopard 2 combat tank. The location of operation of the end customer is Singapore. Due to the restricted installation conditions and the special requirements for this difficult application as well as for 26 V DC, the motors have a special constructive and electrical design.
+++ 15th May 2014 +++ FAURNDAU is awarded a follow-up contract for delivery of more rotary current motors for development and permanent run test benches of Diesel injection pumps for large-scale motors (e.g. ship drives).
Currently more than 25 units of these FAURNDAU rotary current motors especially designed for the application case and the customer are in use.
+++ 07th May 2014 +++ FAURNDAU is awarded the contract for developing a highly dynamic synchronous motor for a new generation motor test bench for an Italian vehicle manufacturer.
+++ 06th May 2014 +++ FAURNDAU is awarded the contract to build a replica of 4 special synchronous motors for the newly planned all-wheel gearbox test bench of a renown German motor refining company.
+++ 02nd and 15th May 2014 +++ FAURNDAU is awarded a follow-up contract for delivery of 18 more rotary current motors for end-of-line gearbox test benches.Currently more than 60 FAURNDAU rotary current motors are being used by this customer.
+++ 27th March 2014 +++ FAURNDAU commissioned to deliver rotary current motors for an NVH gearbox test benches.The scope of delivery includes drive motors in the shaft height of 225 and one drive motor in the shaft height of 132 with a maximum rotational speed of 14,000 rpm.
+++ 01st January 2014 +++ FAURNDAU opened the branch ASF south-west in Moerstadt. With new qualified employees, the activities in Service regionally extended to the Rheinhessen region. Approx. 600m² of workshop space are initially available in order to implement future repairs on any kind of electrical products.
+++ 22nd November 2013 +++ FAURNDAU is commissioned to retrofit a test bench by a worldwide leading automotive supplier in Germany. A Siemens asynchronous motor used for testing hydraulic motors is replaced. The increased performance is achieved by 240 kW and a maximum of 8,000 rpm.
+++ 20th November 2013 +++ For increasing the performance of a large service test field, FAURNDAU is commissioned to provide rotary current motors with capacities up to 500 kW and 4,000 rpm for drive train tests of vehicles that drive faster than 400 km/h.

+++ 29th April 2013 +++ FAURNDAU is again commissioned to deliver water-jacketed cooled rotary current motors for a total 6 gear unit test benches. These gear unit test benches are also installed in China.
+++ 12th April 2013 +++ FAURNDAU is commissioned to deliver rotary current motors with mounted air-air cooler as a replacement for existing DC current motors with increased performance. The motors are used as drives for gear unit testing of agricultural machinery.
+++ 22nd August 2012 +++ FAURNDAU is awarded a contract by a renowned world corporation to deliver water-jacketed cooled rotary current motors for 8 gear unit test benches that are to be installed in China.
